The Preceptorial Line has been firmly laid down by Sri Kavikarnapur Goswami in his celebrated work Sri Gaura-ganoddesa-dipika. The author of the commentary on the Vedanta Sutra, Sri Baladeva Vidyabhusan, has also adopted the same succession. Srimad Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Thakur has accepted it and it has been mentioned in the book Gaudiya-kanthahar. Interested readers may go through ‘Sri Gaudiya Amnaya’, an illuminating ariticle written by Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Thakur and published in the reputed devotional journal, the Gaudiya (Vol. 21, Issue 33-35). One may read ‘Bhagabat Paramparya’ published in the book Saraswati Jayasri (Page 361) edited by Sri Sundarananda Vidyavinode and see the Guru Parampara’ in the Gaudiya (Vol. 17, Issue 29, Page 492). One must notice that the transcendental tradition of Siksha-Gurus has been observed in this Divine Chain of Preceptors. This is essentially “Bhagabat Parampara’—not “Pancharatrik Parampara” (i.e., not the Successive Order of Diksha-Gurus).
From SRI KRISHNA to Brahma, from Brahma to Narad, from Narad to Vyasadeva, from Vyasadeva to Shukadeva and Madhwacharya, from Madhwacharya to Padmanava, Nrihari and Madhab, from Madhab to Akshovya, from Akshovya to Jayatirtha, from Jayatirtha to Jnanasindhu, from Jnanasindhu to Dayanidhi, from Dayanidhi to Vidyanidhi, from Vidyanidhi to Rajendra, from Rajendra to Jayadharma, from Jayadharma to Purushottam, from Purushottam to Brahmanyatirtha from Brahmanyatirtha to Vyasatirtha, from Vyasatirtha to Lakshmipati, from Lakshmipati to Madhavendra Puri

OM VISHNUPAD PARAMAHANSA
108 Sri Srimad Bhakti Amal Aranya
Om Vishnuspad Paramahansa 108 Sri Srimad Bhakti Amal Aranya (lovingly called ‘Sri Gurumoni’ by the devotees) is the present bona fide Jagat-Guru or World Preceptor appearing in the Preceptorial Line of Succession. He is the only preserver of the pure devotional line of Thakur Bhaktivinode in the present world after the disappearance of Srila Bhakti Bhushan Bharati Goswami Thakur.
He is the beloved disciple of Srimad Bhakti Keval Audulomi Goswami Thakur. He is one of the famous Trio among the favourite sannyasi’s of Srimad Bhakti Keval Audulomi Goswami Thakur, the other two being Srimad Bhakti Bhushan Bharati and Srimad Bhakti Gambhir Giri. Srimad Bhakti Amal Aranya is Amalaa Bhakti (Unalloyed Devotion) personified. His Gurudeva uttered the words Amalaa Bhakti thrice at the time of giving him Sannyas.
He has rendered confidential loving service to his Gurudeva. He has offered Prasanga Seva to Sri Sri Guru Gouranga by traveling widely and preaching in the various parts of India. He has done Manovishta Seva by persuading many fortunate souls to practice pure devotion through his inspiring and spirited discourses. Many persons have taken Harinama and Diksha at his inspiration and because of his relentless preaching. He has also collected many living souls who has renounced the world and surrendered themselves to the Lotus Feet of Sri Gurudeva as whole-time servitors or Mathavasis.
Moreover he has rendered Paricharya Seva (Personal Attendance) to his Gurudeva in an unparalleled way. He would spend sleepless nights nursing his Gurudev with great care and affection. His Preceptor was so much attracted and pleased by his loving service that he once commented, “Aranya Maharaj has served me as my mother.” Being extremely happy with Srila Aranya Mahraj, his gurudeva embraced him with tears for a long time at his hallowed bhajan kutir “Sri Swarna Kutira” in Sridham Godrum. Srimad Bhakti Amal Aranya was the constant companion of his gurudeva whenever he visited the famous temple of Sri Gour Dham, Sri Puri Dham or Sri Vrij Dham.
He was the closest friend and God Brother of Srila Bhakti Bhushan Bharati, the immediate successor of Srila Bhakti Keval Audulomi in the Preceptorial Line. Both of them were blessed by the Divine Darshan of Sri Radha Govinda in Seva Kunj.
Srimad Bhakti Amal Aranya is the only custodian of Rupanuga Bhakti in the present world. Secretly but surely he has been preserving Sri Bhaktivinod Dhara by his untiring effort even at the age of a nonagenarian. He is full of vigour, vitality, and bliss like a young man. He wanders about preaching and practicing the messages of Sri Goursundar with full energy and gusto like a youth.
He is a Manjari guru. His eternal name being Sri Mani Manjari of Vraja. Hence, his disciples lovingly call him Gurumoni. He is simplicity personified. He is simpler than a child and humbler than a blade of grass. A beatific smile always plays on his loving lips. He embraces all with the honeyed affection of the divine milkmaids of Vraja, He loves all irrespective of colors, community, caste, creed, age or merit. Even stony hearts melt at the sight of his all-embracing love. He looks upon everybody as his near and dear and speaks out his heart to him without concealing anything. One can contact him over telephone at any point of a day. Despite his busy schedule of Divine Service, he sacrifices his personal bhajan, sleep and rest for the eternal good of the devotees.
